Browser storage and tracking
Updated October 7, 2026. This version does not run advertising pixels, Google Analytics, conversion APIs or campaign attribution. There is no advertising-consent switch that silently starts tracking.
Sign-in and preferences
Account authentication uses browser storage and cookies to keep you signed in. Theme, motion and reading preferences are stored locally. Signing out ends the current application session; your browser’s site-data settings can remove local copies. Blocking all storage may prevent sign-in and saved preferences.
Optional fitness saving
“Save fitness progress on this device” is off by default and applies separately to each account or guest scope. When enabled, browser storage holds detailed reading/quiz/checklist records, workout drafts/history, starter plans, weekly reflections and check-in metadata; IndexedDB holds local check-in photos. Turning it off stops new saved fitness records and leaves earlier copies for explicit export or clearing. Temporary tool inputs remain in memory. This product setting is not described as legal consent.
Signed-in last-chapter/completion continuity may still sync to Supabase with a day-level update date. Historical cloud records are separate. Calorie and macro inputs are not automatically persisted. Account privacy controls provide device export/clear and a separate, explicitly confirmed clear for unassigned legacy records. Browser eviction or device loss can remove device-only data permanently. Account scoping does not protect against someone who can inspect your browser profile directly.
External connections
Videos connect to YouTube only after you select “Load YouTube video.” External links, Google sign-in and Gumroad checkout connect to those services when you choose them. Their storage and privacy practices then apply. Netlify and Supabase may keep operational and security logs; these are distinct from advertising measurement.
